Justin Walker is the music director of the Harbor City Harmonizers. Justin received his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the University of Louisville and Bachelor of Music Performance in Voice from the University of North Florida. A native of Brevard County, Justin is an instructor at Eastern Florida State College, where he directs the Brevard Chorale. Past conducting experience includes the University of Louisville Collegiate Chorale and University Chorus, the University of North Florida Chamber Singers and Osprey Men's Chorus, the EFSC Chamber Orchestra, and the Brevard Community Orchestra. He also serves as the music director at Pineda Presbyterian Church in Melbourne.
As a performer, Justin has appeared with the Louisville Chamber Choir, Louisville Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, Brevard Symphony Orchestra, Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, and GRAMMY Award-nominated singer, songwriter, and actor Josh Groban. He has appeared onstage at American Choral Directors Association conferences, the China International Chorus Festival in Beijing, the Harmonie Festival in Lindenholzhausen, Germany, the Xi'an International Choral Festival, and at Carnegie Hall in New York City. His solo voice credits include Handel's Messiah, Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, and Barab's Little Red Riding Hood, and is a featured soloist on the University of North Florida Chamber Singers' 2015 album Come By Here. Justin is also an in-demand private voice teacher, maintaining a thriving studio in Rockledge.
